Shelley Wingert
President

Shelley began her career in the financial services industry rising through the ranks to management of several national retail banking institutions. She is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of managing operations, sales, service and staff. Her positive and outgoing nature makes the challenge of insurance enjoyable for everyone she helps. When Shelley is not working or volunteering with the Mill Creek Community Food Bank, she enjoys traveling, entertaining, family time, kids’ activities and exercising.

Jason Wingert
Vice President

Jason has thrived in the financial services industry since 1998. Prior to, he spent 15 years running a multi-million dollar business. This experience allows Jason to be a valuable resource to his business clients today. He is creative in developing sound financial solutions that are specifically designed for the individual and small business market. In his spare time, Jason enjoys golfing, hiking, kids sports, and spending time with his wife Shelley, and their children Tyler, Justin, Amanda, and Cookie the family dog.

Tricia Gensman
Office Coordinator

Tricia has come to us with an extensive background as an Administrative Assistant. For the past three years, she was working as a CSR for commercial insurance clients. In her current roll she supports a team of five; directing clients to producers, quoting, and general administrative duties. No matter what her roll, she is dedicated to helping her fellow co-workers and clients. In her spare time she enjoys being outside, whether exploring a new hiking trail, boating on Lake Washington, or digging in her garden.

Michelle Huntsperger
Benefits Account Manager

Michelle started her insurance career in 2004 on the carrier side before transitioning to group benefits account management at a brokerage. She has years of customer service and benefits experience with group plans as well as individual/family medical insurance and senior supplements. Between positions she took some time to manage the family business; a third generation dog boarding and training facility in Connecticut before returning to the Pacific Northwest and joining the Wingert team. Out of the office Michelle enjoys the theatre, concerts, hiking, reading, gardening, and exploring the northwest with her family.

Cherice Martin
Benefits Account Associate

Cherice has over 20 years customer service experience, 10 of which were in the medical industry working closely with individual patient's insurance needs. She joined out team looking for greater opportunities to round out her insurance knowledge and grow her career. Cherice enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, home improvement projects and last but not least, is a huge sports fan who loves her Seahawks and Mariners!

Samantha Mejia
Insurance Consultant

Samantha started her customer service experience and sales profession in 2014. She has a

passion in understanding and ensuring customer satisfaction and enjoys finding solutions

to difficult situations. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her 4 children and

husband, listening to podcasts, cooking, and watching reality TV.

Janine Dawson
Personal & Commercial Manager

Janine began her insurance career in Seattle in 1979 in claims and in 1985, began working for a Reinsurance Broker, managing their operations, HR, and servicing divisions in various states. In 2006, she opened her insurance agency, Timberwolf Insurance, specializing in personal lines, farming, wineries, and commercial lines. In 2019, she merged her agency with Wingert Financial Services and acts as their Personal & Commercial Lines Manager.  Janine lives in Leavenworth, WA with her husband and enjoys riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, and hanging out with her grandson!

Heather Shelter
Commercial Insurance Consultant

Heather started out as a bank teller, where she worked her way to an assistant branch manager.  In 2005 she made a career change, thus obtaining her insurance license and working for State Farm. Looking to broaden her scope and opportunities, Heather joined our Agency in 2011. Her well rounded knowledge and personable demeanor are an asset to the team and clients alike. In Heather’s free time, she enjoys traveling, boating, golfing, and camping with friends.

Jerred Nuttall
Personal Insurance Consultant

Before his current role with Wingert Insurance, Jerred spent 8 years with State Farm where he honed his skills as an insurance professional. Before that he spent over 5 years on the retail management side working for Starbucks Coffee Company. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his kids & now grandkids, cooking, and doing anything outside. He's a huge Mariners fan and number one on his bucket list is to visit Mt. Everest.
