Shelley and staff fund-raised, trained, and walked twenty miles a day stretching from Redmond to downtown Seattle in the 3-Day Walk.
Shelley taught and coordinated the Junior Achievement program at Mill Creek Elementary for 7 years.
Shelley held membership and volunteered many hours at the school, helping and coordinating events, such as science day, art docent, and teacher liaison. Shelley was honored to receive their Golden Acorn Award for dedication.

Both Jason and Shelley have been leaders of Cub and Boy Scouts. Shelley ran the annual Cub Scout Day camp for Several Years, while Jason was an assistant leader for Boy Scouts Troop 221 in Mill Creek.
The Run of the Mill is an annual charity 5k run that takes place in Mill Creek. Wingert Insurance Agency was a proud sponsor of 2022's event.
Wingert Insurance Agency has been a drop-off site for children of Snohomish County since 2011. Our most recent 2022 drive was a smash with over 900 toys collected and $3,525 in donations!
Wingert Insurance Agency has been an integral part of supporting, leading, and collecting food for the food bank. WIA's most recent contribution was a $1,000 donation on May 2, 2023.
Shelley's leadership has helped feed hundreds of children each year.
As a visionary member, WIA contributes to the business community by being a board member, assisted with Annual BBQ's, Summer Festival, Santa Parade, Chamber's annual golf tournament, past/future involvement with the Mill Creek festival, and many more events.
Wingert Insurance Agency has been proudly donating school supplies and volunteer hours to Stuff the Bus for many years. Last year, with much excitement, we became an official drop-off site for school supplies.
